This is our annual Spaghetti Dinner. Salad and drinks are included. We will be using Orsi Italian Bread. There is a free will offering. The money raised will go to build our new church.

Promise 4 Paws Dog Rescue

Pomise 4 Paws Senior Dog Sanctuary is holding our second annual fundraising gala, themed 'A Night to Paws 4 a Cause'. The night will include a dinner buffet, a large silent auction, live auction, games, a DJ and dancing, free beer while supplies last and more.

Tickets can be purchased online (see below) or by check via mail. Tickets must be purchased in advance; they will not be for sale at the event. The doors will open at 5:30 PM and all pre-purchased tickets will be available for pickup at the registration desk along with event packets and bidding numbers. You will not receive them in the mail.

The dress code is "come as you are". Jeans are welcome.

Canines in Costume

Join us for the 9th Annual "Canines in Costumes" event where we celebrate DOGS! Guests will be treated to a costumed dog parade with prizes, music, food, vendors, raffles, photo booth, petting zoo, games, and product samples.

Taco Run - World Mission

9 to 11AM | Taco Johns
The Taco Run raises money for an annual student mission project at St Albert High School. The event is a 5K run or one mile walk. An entry fee includes a long sleeve t-shirt (for participants 8 years and older) and food from Taco John’s after the event for all participants. The race will begin and end at Taco John's located at 217 E Broadway.

Participants, age seven and under (walk only), are free. Participants, age eight and older (walk or run), are $20 for pre-registration and $25 the day of the race. Please note, entries received after October 27th are not guaranteed a t-shirt.

The 5K is a challenging run through scenic areas of the city. Medals will be awarded for the first place overall male and female finishes for the 5K. In addition, medals will be awarded to the first and second place finishers in each of the six age divisions of the run. The one-mile walk has no age divisions and no medals will be awarded.

10th Annual Racing with the Stars

11AM to 3PM | Joe's Karting
Racing with the Stars is a charity kart race featuring "celebrity" drivers from across the Midwest. The general public can come in and race against the 20 "celebrity" drivers. This event is to help raise money for the Holiday Horsepower Drive which in turn helps to take care of the children at the Omaha Children's Hospital and the hospital itself.

Races are $10+tax with $3 from each race being donated to the drive. (Must have a $3 day pass or $7 annual membership.) There will 100 eight-lap races with 10 to a race. Top 10 laptimes from general public will advance on to a 16-lap qualifying A-Feature. Top nine laptimes from "celebs" and last year's event winner will advance on to a 16-lap qualifying A-Feature. Top five finishers from both qualifying A's will be in the Top A-Feature. "Celebs" will start 6th-10th.

Turkey Shoot Bowling

All TeamMates supporters are invited to this fun event for a great cause. Create a 5-person bowling team; shop the auction for great gifts; bowl for your Thanksgiving turkey; and win some raffle items.

No need to be on a team to shop the auction. Stay tuned for posts on auction items!

Christmas Enchantment

Enjoy the season's refreshments and music at this free event. You will also be able to browse holiday décor and gifts for sale at our silent and live auction.
Proceeds benefit the Spiritual Life Program and children living in the residential treatment program at Children's Square U.S.A.

Come join the Community Education Foundation as we celebrate the partnership between business and education in the Council Bluffs School District. Enjoy lunch and a speaker highlighting educational issues and interests in the community. Tickets are $50 each or sponsor a table for $500. Proceeds from the event support the Community Education Foundation's mission to enhance education in Council Bluffs. The Mission of the Community Education Foundation is to provide support to individuals and families in ways that contribute to their ability to learn. We accomplish our mission through cooperation with the Council Bluffs Community Schools and other organizations.
