Wheels of Courage Car Show

The Wheels of Courage Car Show is an exciting outdoor car show with a variety of car categories that are open to the public to enter and win as well as an auction and raffle with amazing and unique prizes.

The 3rd Annual Wheels of Courage Car Show is revving up for another great year. You can be involved by registering your vehicle, purchasing a sponsorship, or a t-shirt. All proceeds benefit the Spirit of Courage Charitable Patient Fund at Methodist Jennie Edmundson Hospital.

Charitable Patient Care is one of the most rewarding programs. For hundreds of Methodist Jennie Edmundson Hospital patients in genuine need each year, coping with serious illness and mounting medical bills at the same time can be overwhelming. Funds raised during the Wheels of Courage help relieve some of the financial burden with funding for medical services, therapy and prescriptions.

Cars must be registered by 11 am to qualify for awards, judging beings at 12 pm, and awards at 3 pm.

Car Registrations, sponsorships, and t-shirts can be purchased by clicking on the website provided
or call.

Pre-register by June 9th to recieve a free t-shirt.

Chanticleer Cabaret Series: A Neil Diamond Tribute

7:30PM | Chanticleer Community Theater
One night only - experience the feel of Neil as Keith Allynn performs a Neil Diamond tribute.

The event is a summer fundraiser for Chanticleer with complimentary wine and hors d'oeuvres at intermission. Tickets are $30 per person ($25 per person for Chanticleer members).

Amelia Place Show and Shine

12 to 2PM | Amelia Place
Amelia Place Show and Shine is a car and motorcycle event designed to raise money for a good cause. There is no required registration fee for cars and motorcycles, but a free will donation is encouraged. The event features music, games, and raffle prizes. A hot dog, chips and drink are available for $5. All proceeds collected will go to the Alzheimer's Association. To register a vehicle or more information, please call the phone number provided.

Spirit of Courage Celebrity Weekend Golf Tournament

8AM to 3PM | Dodge Riverside Golf Club
Come play with the most famous golfers NOT on the PGA Tour!

Join us for the Spirit of Courage Celebrity Weekend Golf Tournament to raise funds for patients needing financial assistance and as we celebrate and honor four amazing individuals who have had a cancer diagnosis and share their amazing stories:

John McCreedie
Mindy Miller
George Smith

We are also joined each year by local and national sports and television celebrities who add a little excitement and humor to the event! The schedule is 8 am for registration, and 9 am for the shotgun start.

Registration is $1,000 per team for foursome (Includes: continental breakfast, green fees w/ cart, beverages, snacks and lunch). Sponsorships, tee signs and golf cart signage are available.

The Spirit of Courage Celebrity Weekend honors individuals who have had a cancer diagnosis and share their amazing stories.

This year's incredible recipients are:

We are also joined each year by local and national sports and television celebrities who add a little excitement and humor to the event. The schedule is as follows: 6 pm Cocktails and Silent Auction opens and 7 pm Dinner, Silent & Live Auctions, Awards Ceremony and Entertainment. Attire is business casual to dressy.

Players are invited to participate in the "No Limit Texas Hold Em Poker Tournament" with proceeds going to the Spirit of Courage. Registration is at noon with the tournament starting at 1 pm. 2017 Union Pacific Museum Special

No other railroad in this country has retained its historical equipment and honored its past like Union Pacific. Its fleet preservation speaks to the high value Union Pacific places on its heritage and its role in America’s history.
Each historic passenger car is unique and chronicles a different chapter of Union Pacific’s past. For more than a century, these cars transported iconic individuals – including presidents, senators, generals, soldiers, artists, architects, singers and actors – who influenced and transformed America.
Share the adventure with us August 13, 2017, as we trace the beginning of Union Pacific’s construction of the transcontinental railroad to Columbus, Nebraska, on heritage equipment pulled by historic E-9 streamliner locomotives. This is a rare opportunity to travel on the Union Pacific main line and relive the heyday of premium Union Pacific passenger service.
Tickets will be available on a first-come, first-served basis in two categories:
Coach - $250
Ticket includes coffee, tea and doughnuts during boarding and limited snack service during the trip in the Council Bluffs baggage car.

Dome - $350
Ticket includes premium fruit, pastries and beverage service.

Private Car - $500
Ticket includes exclusive access to the City of San Francisco, a premium dome/lounge car, as well as premium fruit, pastries and beverage service.
