2021 Summer Fun with CB Parks & Rec!

The City of Council Bluffs has announced their 2021 Parks and Recreation Event Series and 2021 Fire Hydrant Party schedule! They have an exciting lineup of events that take place in multiple parks and neighborhoods throughout Council Bluffs this year. The variety of events aim to engage our youngest residents at events like the Block Party in Bayliss Park, our teens at RECtoberfest, our adults at Comedy Night, and the whole family at the Hydrant Parties!

Due to coronavirus, the schedule of events is subject to change. Additionally, there may be recommendations or requirements enacted at events to keep you and the staff safe and healthy. Be sure to check the City of Council Bluffs's website and Facebook page regularly for the most up-to-date information.

The Fire Department hosts hydrant parties on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1:30 - 2:30 p.m. throughout the summer at various locations. These events are made possible thanks to several amazing partners. Special thanks to Council Bluffs Water Works for providing the water and to Centris Federal Credit Union for providing the frozen treats.
