The wildly popular Beyond Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience extends its stay at the Mid-America Center in Council Bluffs through September 9, 2022. Originally intended to end on August 14, the high demand has lengthened the stay to allow more visitors to check out the unforgettable exhibit.
At the exhibit, you’ll be fully immersed in more than 300 of Vincent Van Gogh’s most significant works, including The Starry Night, Wheatfield with Crows, self-portraits, and more. His post-Impressionist works come to life, flow across multi-surfaces, and make you feel like you’ve stepped directly into his paintings. The show is accompanied by a beautiful score and allows you to learn more about Van Gogh’s struggle and successes in translating the beauty he saw in the world onto canvas.
This stunning exhibit was created by French-Canadian Creative Director Mathieu St-Arnaud and his team at Montreal’s world-renowned Normal Studio. “We are so grateful and of course honored by the audience’s positive reaction and enthusiasm towards the experience.” commented Creative Director, Mathieu St-Arnaud. “Since it’s early inception, we knew we wanted to create a very personal and awe-inspiring experience for the audience. In addition to extending its stay, Beyond Van Gogh: The Immersive Experience has teamed up with SHARE Omaha + SHARE Iowa for a backpack drive! Attendees who bring a backpack and school supplies to the Mid-America Center from August 4 through August 7 will get a free Beyond Van Gogh ticket with a paid admission.
