June 3, 2021, through June 5, 2021, the Preserve Iowa Summit will be in Council Bluffs! The summit is the state’s top conference for professionals and volunteers involved in historic preservation. Presentations from experts, workshops, and tours will help participants learn new ways to preserve Iowa’s past.
Who will be attending the event?
- Historic property owners
- Members of historic preservation commissions
- Historic preservation, planning, interior design, and architecture students
- Main Street staff and board members
- Preservation professionals and consultants
- Developers and planning professionals
- Local government officials, community leaders, and civic organizations
- Architects
The State Historic Preservation Office is looking for presenters for the summit. Do you have a high-quality presentation that would be beneficial for historic preservation professionals, community leaders, and volunteers? Have you heard someone present at a conference that you think would be a great speaker for the Preserve Iowa Summit? Consider submitting a proposal! The deadline for proposals is November 10, 2020, at 11:59 p.m.
