Crush the Curve: Test Iowa Initiative

To get Iowans back to work as quickly and safely as possible, Governor Kim Reynolds announced the Test Iowa initiative to expand COVID-19 testing in Iowa. Iowa was only the second state to put in place a widespread testing initiative like this.

The assessment informs Iowans on their current health status and whether they should be tested for COVID-19 or not. The test also provides instructions on how to get tested. The sooner we can identify cases, the sooner we can get back to our normal way of life.

Governor Reynolds, the Iowa Department of Public Health, and the Iowa National Gaurd established testing sites in Council Bluffs at the Western Historic Trails Center and All Care Health Center. The testing centers are open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. You must go to TestIowa.com and take the assessment to know if you qualify for testing or not. If you qualify, you will be able to schedule your appointment through TestIowa.com. Walk-in testing is not available.

Governor Reynolds has kicked off the #TestIowaChallenge and is encouraging all Iowans to go to TestIowa.com to complete the assessment.

The Council Bluffs Convention & Visitors Bureau is taking the challenge, and now we challenge you! Visit TestIowa.com to take the assessment.
