Congratulations to Council Bluffs Convention & Visitors Bureau (CBCVB) Board of Directors member Deb Bass for being named 2018 Outstanding Alum by Iowa Western Community College!
Bass was honored for “bridging gaps between business and healthcare” by building the Nebraska Health Information Initiative (NeHII), blending her background in nursing and business. In her time as CEO of NeHII, Bass worked diligently to build support for the organization and implemented a software that makes gathering medical records from hospital to hospital more efficient.
Bass has been a board member of the Council Bluffs Convention & Visitors Bureau since the board’s creation in September 2013. She served as board president from August 2016 to August 2018. Bass was president during some of the CBCVB’s most successful years and we are very thankful for all she’s done for our organization.
