The Council Bluff Convention & Visitors Bureau (UNleashCB) would like to thank every single person who participated in the first-ever UNleashCB Fall Photo Contest! Our goal was to get people outside to enjoy the fall season in Council Bluffs and Pottawattamie County and based on the submissions we received; it looks like we were successful!
We received images from all over Pottawattamie County and Council Bluffs including some from Hitchcock Nature Center, Lake Manawa, the Lewis and Clark Scenic Monument, and even a Riverside high school football game.
This week our panelists are busy carefully scoring and judging each photo that came in. They will be scoring the images based on creativity, effectiveness in showcasing fall, and technical merit. Stay tuned because we will be announcing the winner on our Facebook and Instagram accounts this Friday, November 13!
Next week, we will open up the voting and allow our followers to choose a “people’s choice” winner. The top five runner ups that our panelists choose will be involved in this vote. The “people’s choice” winner will receive a gift certificate to one of our favorite local restaurants. Be sure to take part in the vote next week on our social media channels. We cannot wait to see which image you select!
