Join the adventure on January 11th to support local trails and enjoy a day of biking, auctions, food, and more!

Get ready for an unforgettable winter celebration on January 11th, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.! The Ullr Bash 2025 is the perfect way to support the Pottawattamie County Trails Association while having a blast in the winter chill. Whether you’re into snowshoeing, walking, cycling, or just enjoying a fun community event, this is the day to mark your calendar!

The heart of the event is the silent auction, where you can bid on exciting items and experiences—registering for the auction is free, so it’s easy to get involved from anywhere! But the fun doesn’t stop there. Head over to Tobey Jack’s Mineola Steakhouse, the event's main hub, where you'll find more than just great food. You’ll be able to join in on the live auction, participate in a 50/50 raffle, try your luck in the themed costume contest, and enjoy some warm soup, drinks, and games.

Biking on Wabash Trace Nature Trail

Why Tobey Jack’s? It’s a local favorite and the go-to spot for Thursday Night Taco Rides along the Wabash Trace Nature Trail, where cyclists gather each week to ride the scenic trail to Mineola for tacos. This spot has become a cornerstone for the outdoor community, making it the perfect venue for a winter event supporting local trails. Tobey Jack’s offers a cozy atmosphere where attendees can enjoy delicious food, relax, and bond over their shared love of the outdoors. And if you're joining in from out of town or just need a warm spot to regroup, this is the place to be!

For those looking for extra adventure, the 10-mile all-trail winter bike ride is a must. For just $30, you can bike, walk, or snowshoe (if the weather brings powder) the route from Tobey Jack's to Margaritaville along the Wabash Trace Nature Trail. This scenic trail offers some of the most beautiful winter views and a chance to experience the outdoors in a new season. Whether you're riding or strolling, it’s a perfect way to get outside and make an impact!

All proceeds from the day’s activities go directly to support important trail development projects, like the pedestrian trail from Council Bluffs to Neola, along with future initiatives aimed at improving outdoor spaces and enhancing recreation for all. Your participation in the ride or auction helps fund these incredible efforts to connect communities and create new pathways for adventure.

Can’t make it in person? No problem! You can still get in on the action by participating in the online silent auction, which is already open for bids. It’s free to register, so don’t miss your chance to score incredible deals and support the development of local trails from the comfort of your home!

Bundle up, embrace the spirit of Ullr, the Norse God of winter, and join us for a day of fun, fundraising, and community. The Ullr Bash 2025 is your chance to get involved, make a difference, and have a great time doing it!

Register today for the winter bike ride, check out the auction, and get ready for a winter party you won’t forget. See you on January 11th, supporting our trails!
