Motorcycle enthusiasts are invited to Council Bluffs for the Meetin-in-the-Middle, a vintage Japanese motorcycle event hosted by the Kansas City Vintage Japanese Motorcycle Club. The event brings together riders and collectors for a weekend of classic bikes, community, and motorcycle history.
Taking place August 20-22, the event features a motorcycle show open to Japanese motorcycles from 2006 and older, along with rides, swap meets, and opportunities to connect with fellow enthusiasts.
Thursday, August 20:
Kick off the weekend at Bikes on the 100 Block in downtown Council Bluffs from 5 - 10 PM. This summer ride-in event features motorcycles of all types, reserved parking for Vintage Japanese Motorcycle Club participants, and plenty of entertainment along the Historic 100 Block of West Broadway.
Guests can enjoy live music from Cheshire Grin, a block-long beer garden, downtown dining, and more. The event is presented by Edwards Motorsports, Barley’s, and Defiance Harley-Davidson.
Friday, August 21:
Visit the Kamikaze Motorcycle Museum near Glenwood for a motorcycle and parts swap meet, plus a chance to explore the museum’s collection. Additional VJMC dinner meet and greet details will be announced.
Saturday, August 22:
The main event takes place at Edwards Motorsports with the Meetin’ in the Middle Bike Show from 10 AM - 2 PM. The day includes vintage motorcycle displays, awards, food, drinks, and plenty of opportunities to connect with fellow bike enthusiasts.
