The 2021 Council Bluffs National Night Out event will take place on Tuesday, August 3rd, from 5:30 - 8 p.m. at Lake Manawa North Shore Park (4200 South 11th St).  Millions of neighbors participate in National Night Out across thousands of communities from all fifty states, U.S. territories, and military bases worldwide. Communities host block parties, festivals, parades, cookouts, safety demonstrations, seminars, youth events, and more.

The Council Bluffs National Night Out is a free event and will be fun for the whole family. National Night Out gives everyone in the community a chance to interact with our local law enforcement officers and first responders. Multiple local agencies will be present at the 2021 National Night Out, including Council Bluffs Police Department, Council Bluffs Fire Department, Pottawattamie County Sheriff’s Office, Pottawattamie County Emergency Management Agency, Iowa State Patrol, Iowa DOT Motor Vehicle Enforcement, Lifenet Air Methods.

Thanks to our sponsors, National Night Out will have free food and giveaways, including t-shirts, water bottles, footballs, while supplies last, plus a kids' bicycle raffle. 2021 National Night Out sponsors include Warren Highline, Walmart, Coberly's Real Images, and B&D Turf Cars.

National Night Out is an annual community-building campaign that promotes police-community partnerships and neighborhood camaraderie to make our neighborhoods safer, more caring places to live. National Night Out enhances the relationship between neighbors and law enforcement while bringing back a true sense of community. Furthermore, it provides an excellent opportunity to bring police and neighbors together under favorable circumstances.
