In the last couple of months, several significant website upgrades have been made to UNleashCB.com to help improve its usability, functionality, and appearance. Our website developers, Neapolitan Labs, have put in a lot of hard work and we are excited to share their work with you!

Homepage Videos:
On the homepage of UNleashCB.com, you will now find high-quality video footage playing behind the Council Bluffs logo and the “Unlike Anywhere Else. On Purpose” tagline. These videos come from the Uncover CB video series that was filmed and edited by Craig Carlsen and funded by the Council Bluffs image campaign. These dynamic videos showcase the Historic 100 Block, Bob Kerrey Pedestrian Bridge, and the Loess Hills at Hitchcock Nature Center. Over time, new videos will be featured showing off different aspects of Council Bluffs.

Instant Site Search:

A new and robust search functionality has been added to the homepage of the website. This search tool allows visitors to instantly search and find results with auto-complete functionality. This will ensure that everyone can easily and quickly find the information they are looking for on UNleashCB.com!

Trending Today and What’s New:

Two new features have been added to the homepage to highlight trending topics and new information on UNleashCB.com. The Trending Topics list features the top pages on the website and is gathered through analytics data. The What’s New list dynamically displays the latest content updated or added to the site. Both of these features allow visitors to quickly see what’s new and popular on the site.

Google Places Integration:

The eat, play, stay, and venue listings on UNleashCB.com have been upgraded to show the business’ Google rating and hours when available on their respective listing. This allows visitors to see when businesses are open and what other people have to say about their experience.

Automated Email Responses
An automated email system has been set up to respond to anyone who fills out the contact us or RFP submission forms on UNleashCB.com. This reassures inquirers that their questions or RFP has been successfully submitted and that the CBCVB staff will be reaching out to them shortly. Responses have also been set up to send to anyone who submits an event to the calendar on the website.

We are confident that these new features will continue to make UNleashCB.com a reliable and relevant source of information for all things happening in Council Bluffs!
