UNdeniably Good News: Barley's Supporting CB

St. Patrick’s Day was a little less than festive this year. Bars and restaurants were all closed to the public after Governor Kim Reynolds’ emergency declaration. Fortunately, many restaurants in Council Bluffs have been able to stay open to offer carryout, delivery, and drive-thru options. After the closures, Barley’s stepped up to the plate and showed their support to some of Council Bluffs community members that needed it the most!

On March 17, two of Barley’s employees, Alycia Hamaker and Tom Shea delivered leftover corned beef and cabbage to the Council Bluffs Police Departments, the Council Bluffs Fire Departments, and the staff at All Care Health Center.

Positive stories like these are a great way to remind ourselves that we have a close-knit community that is willing to do what it takes to support each other.

A big thank you to Barley’s and everyone else in the community that is showing support and compassion during these tough times!
