Bass Pro Shops
Santa’s Wonderland returns to Bass Pro Shops and Council Bluffs/Omaha-area families are invited to enjoy this magical Christmas village offering free photos with Santa and free family holiday activities including fun crafts and games.

Features include rustic Christmas cabins, holiday characters and live elves set amongst a dazzling backdrop of snow-covered hills and illuminated Christmas trees. The Santa’s Wonderland Christmas village offers remote control trucks, laser/ foam toy arcade, Lincoln Logs building area and much more. Kids can also spend time at one of the activity tables where they can write a letter to Santa, color and do fun crafts, all for free.

Families can enjoy the wonder of Christmas inside Bass Pro Shops with Santa’s Wonderland through December 24 including free photos with Santa. Guests can schedule their Santa time using the free Bass Pass system. Visit the Bass Pass Ticket Depot located at the entrance of Santa’s Wonderland to pick up a time-stamped pass.

Santa’s arrival coincides with Veteran’s Day and the start of a holiday round up program where customers can help support service members, military families and veterans through a donation program. Bass Pro Shops will donate 100 percent of customer contributions to USO Care Packages, which are shipped directly to active service members overseas, and AMVETS. Saturday Matinee - Spider-Man: Homecoming

The matinee showing is Spider-Man: Homecoming. Released in 2017, it is rated PG-13 and is two hours and 13 minutes in length. The event features free popcorn and is free and open to the public.

Joseph Hall's Elvis Christmas Show

2 to 4PM | The Center
Joseph Hall, finalist from America's Got Talent and a Branson veteran, is bringing his Elvis-The Christmas Show tribute to The Center on Sunday, December 17. Doors open at 1 pm for a 2 pm performance.

Hall's Elvis is truly a blast from the past, and he'll be singing all the classics.

The Great Train Expo

10AM to 4PM | Mid-America Center
Immerse yourself in the fascinating world of miniature railroading at the train show! The train show is designed for children of all ages; for modelers, collectors and enthusiasts; for families in search of good old-fashioned fun; and for the simply curious. Each show features hundreds of tables of trains, accessories, scale models and collectible toys for sale as well as huge operating exhibits, activities for kids, free seminars and educational opportunities, and much more.

Tickets are $10 per person for a single day and $11 per person for both days.

The Heartland USA Wrestling Elementary & Middle School National Folk Style Duals draws teams from across the country. The event dates and times are as follows:

Friday, April 13th: Weigh-ins are 5-8 pm.
Saturday, April 14th: Doors open at 6:30 am and wrestling begins at 8 am.
Wrestling is done in pools to determine the bracketing for Saturday.
Sunday, April 15th: Doors open at 6:30 am and wrestling begins at 8 am.
Championship brackets will be wrestled to completion with awards and all brackets done by 3 pm.

Adult admission is $18 per person per day, and student admission is $10 per person per day. Tickets are sold at the door.

Moon Mouse by Lightwire Theater

A family show, recommended for children ages five through 10. Lightwire Theater is proud to present Moon Mouse, a cosmic glow-in-the-dark adventure about celebrating differences. Marvin the mouse wants to be popular. Constantly bullied and picked on by the “cool” rats, he is labeled as a looser and a geek. As respite from the continuous badgering, Marvin retreats into his science books and a world of fantasy. He longs to have adventures and to be the hero. Join Marvin on the space adventure of a lifetime: a trip to the surface of the moon on his homemade rocket, where he meets a strange cast of misfit creatures, learns of infinite peril and views awesome beauty.
