Join us for a free, introductory session of a new 2020 programming series, "A Land Ethic Workshop". Join instructor Ron Cisar as we celebrate the life & legacy of famous naturalist & philosopher Aldo Leopold. This free session will focus on Leopold's essay "Good Oak" from his classic work "A Sand County Almanac". Participants in this introductory session will study & learn more about the oak tree, it's significance in our biological community & in our ecosystem. Participants will also get to know Aldo Leopold, his methods, life's work, & legacy before heading outdoors for a short hike to explore the signs of the season.

This program is free with paid park admission or a current Pottawattamie Conservation Foundation membership. This program is intended for participants age 14 & over. Online pre-registration is required as space is limited.
