Award Winning Author Visit ~ Julie Berry

Julie Berry's newest novel, Lovely War is set during World War I, and features a character in an all African American regiment, the fabled “Harlem Hellfighters,” who are credited with bringing American ragtime and jazz music to France. Julie will do a reading and talk about the history, the research, and the writing process. She will take audience questions, and she will sign books.
No reservations necessary. Arrive early to ensure a seat. This event is free and open to the public and was made possible with help from the Council Bluffs Public Library Foundation and the Friends of the Council Bluffs Public Library.
