Bats are one of the most misunderstood mammals in the world. Their appearance and lifestyle have inspired folklore and superstition that impacts the way many of us relate to these unique animals. Join Lauren Darnold, Education & Public Outreach Coordinator with Nebraska Wildlife Rehab, and get to know these unique creatures as we kick off our 2020/2021 Speaker Series. Lauren will be discussing bat adaptations, their importance in our ecosystem, and bat species from around the world.

This program will be held in Meeting Room B at the Council Bluffs Public Library. This event is free, online pre-registration is required to attend as space is limited, walk-in participants will not be admitted. Face masks and social distancing is required. This program is part of our adult education programming, we ask that participants be age 14 & over, please.
