Come join us to learn about and see the beautiful butterflies that call Hitchcock Nature Center home! This series of classes taught by Jason Andersen, Wildlife Biologist with Pheasants Forever, begins with an informative classroom presentation on what species are currently active, how to identify them, and some helpful tips of what habitats certain species will be found in. Then, we embark on an adventure out into the Loess Hills to find our local butterflies! Please bring binoculars if you have them, we will also have some pairs of close focus insect binoculars to check out! First come, first serve. Registration is required, ages 14 and up, please.
