Come to Iowa for the Architecture
March 19 | 6:30 - 8:00 p.m.Council Bluffs Public Library
UNfortunately, this event has already occurred.
What is there to see in Iowa? Interesting architecture, for one thing! Iowa State professor Daniel Naegele has traveled the state and authored "Naegele’s Guide to the Only Good Architecture in Iowa," which includes both renowned works of architecture as well as barns, billboards, landscapes, bridges, wind turbines, cemeteries, murals, silos, Quonset huts, and power plants. In this program Dr. Naegele will present a look at Iowa (and Omaha) architecture. A rich and often surprising portrait of Iowa architecture will emerge from the program.
