Join us for a presentation on the history of dining on the railroad! Railroads recognized very early that dining was a key way to distinguish themselves from competitors. Passengers benefited from each railroad's effort to offer the best food, best service, and best dining environment. Even the china became a mark of distinction. Railroads used unique china patterns to brand the railroad and individual routes. Union Pacific featured different china patterns for each of its premier routes and even had special china for children.

This event will take place on Zoom! It is totally free, but please register ahead of time by clicking the ticket link in the event. You will receive a confirmation email immediately, and we will send out the Zoom meeting link the day before the event. If you have any questions or concerns, please send us a Facebook message (we're all working from home so we're not able to answer calls to the museum).
