Violence, threats, and spies, danger and death all shaped and pulled the American labor movement in different directions through the 19th and 20th centuries. Railroad unions, in particular, played a major role in shaping the ways we all work today. On select Fridays at 5 p.m., meet us at the Union Pacific Railroad Museum in Council Bluffs for a special tour of the museum featuring histories you won't find on the walls.
