What do Thomas Jefferson High School, City Hall, Bloomer School, the Bennett Building, First Baptist Church, the Hughs-Irons Building in the 100 Block, and dozens of other homes and buildings in town have in common? They were all designed by J. Chris Jensen. The architect and his buildings are the topic of the next program of this Kanesville Speakers Series.

The program will look at the histories of these buildings, factors influencing design during that time, and the architect himself. The program will be presented by Dr. Richard Warner and is part of the Kanesville Speakers Series.

Admission is free to members of the Historical Society of Pottawattamie County; nonmembers are welcome to attend for $5.
