Kanesville Symphony Orchestra - Wet Ink
August 5 | 7:30 p.m.Hoff Family Arts & Culture Center
UNfortunately, this event has already occurred.
The Kanesville Symphony Orchestra "Wet Ink" series of concerts are focused on the creation of original and exciting music by local composers and arrangers. Referencing that the ink is still very much wet on a document that has just been created, the vast majority of works within a given Wet Ink concert are designed to exhibit the creativity of the nearby area, while also showcasing new envisionings of older works. Works are written for and rehearsed by the orchestra with the composers and arrangers in attendance. Our family-friendly Inaugural 2021 KSO Wet Ink takes us on an exploration of the varied history of orchestration over the past three centuries. The first half features works from Handel, Mozart, and Beethoven. The second half features works from Resident Composer James-Michael Sellers and our first two Wet Inkers, April Corbet and Heather Horst, written specifically for our first concert.
