Law and Order on the Railroad: Virtual Presentation
October 6 | 2:00 - 3:00 p.m.Virtual Event
UNfortunately, this event has already occurred.
In the history of the criminal justice system, the railroads were at the convergence of two separate, but not entirely distinct groups: the outlaws who engaged in criminal behavior, and the lawmen who protected railroad assets. These are their stories. Learn about the origins of policing on the railroad, from the railroad police's Pinkerton origins to their work chasing train robbers like Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. This event will take place on Zoom. It is totally free, but please register ahead of time by clicking the ticket link in the event. You will receive a confirmation email immediately, and we will send out the Zoom meeting link the day before the event.
