Join the River City Master Naturalist Chapter and fellow Nebraska Master Naturalist and artist Pat James for her special photography showcase featuring plants on her ranch in Boyd County, Nebraska. Pat will also describe her process for making these creative prints. A guided prairie hike will follow. This event is free and open to the public. A $5 per vehicle entry fee or park membership is required to enter the park.

About Pat: The arts provide valuable ways to see and experience our natural environment. As a landowner, artist, and Nebraska Master Naturalist, Pat James has been using photographs to document, understand, and interpret the 600 acres she lives on along the Missouri National Recreational River in Boyd County, Nebraska. After taking multiple photographs while she is out walking on her family’s property, she uses digital methods to refine and layer the photographs into what she calls “photo constructions.”
