Wabash Trace Fall Color Ride

Ride the Wabash Trace Rail Trail to Silver City (28 miles round trip) or to Malvern (44 miles round trip) and experience some great fall colors along this mostly shaded trail. We will stop on the return trip at Toby Jack's in Mineola for refreshments. Malvern has the Big Bike Sculpture on the south end of town. We can stop to take a group photo. In Silver City, we encourage riders to stop and pick up some refreshments or bike supplies at Happy Trails Cyclery.
The Wabash Trace trail consisted of a packed crushed limestone surface with some paved surfaces near Silver City and Malvern. Road bikes with 25 to 28 mm wide tires can ride the trail, bikes with 32 mm or wider tires are best. This will be a relatively flat ride. A Wabash Trace Daily pass is required and costs $2.00. This can be paid at the trailhead. Annual unlimited passes are $20. Riders pay their own fees. The ride is free for all. Registration is required so we have an idea of how many people plan on attending.
