Hitchcock HawkWatch Kickoff Meeting

August 18, 2019
5:00PM
Hitchcock Nature Center

Returning HawkWatch volunteers and those interested in joining the Hitchcock HawkWatch are invited to join us for a kickoff meeting and potluck! Looking for a way to get outside and volunteer at Hitchcock Nature Center? This might be the perfect project for you to join. Potential new volunteers are welcome to attend to learn more about the program and how they can help with this important research.

We will be discussing last year's report, new business, volunteer schedules, and more. This is a great chance to catch up with old friends and make some new ones before the season officially begins in September. The Hitchcock HawkWatch is an annual volunteer project and is open to volunteer participants ages 18 and older. Birding experience is preferred but not necessary, and new volunteers will receive on the job training to improve their spotting skills.

RSVP required; visit our website, linked below, for details and to RSVP.
