Register your team of up to 8 for this fun, all ages event on Saturday, May 6th from 2 to 5 pm. Learn how to use a GPS unit and then hit the trails on to seek out caches and solve puzzles. All ages are welcome to participate and there will be various levels of difficulty to choose from but all levels will require hiking on uneven terrain. Space is limited so pre-registration is required by Tuesday, May 2nd. Pre-registration for this event will open in late March. There is no fee for this event, free will donations will be accepted to support continued programming opportunities in Pottawattamie County. Participants must have a valid Pottawattamie County Park permit or purchase a $2 per vehicle daily entrance pass. Daily passes may be purchased with cash or check at the front entrance the day of the event. Annual permits may be purchased for $10 from staff at any of our parks or at the Loess HIlls Lodge at Hitchcock Nature Center during regular business hours. While this event is family friendly it is not pet friendly, please leave your canine friends at home. Service animals are always welcome.
