The Council Bluffs CVB possesses a strong presence on social media. It constitutes one of its most valuable assets. The UNLEASH Council Bluffs Facebook page has more than 15,600 followers. Pottawattamie County events can leverage that following through the opportunities described below.
$1 to $1 Match to Promote Pottawattamie County Events
Pottawattamie County events can take advantage of the CBCVB’s Facebook following to create greater awareness and build participation. Events can do so with the CBCVB’s $1 to $1 Match program that boosts an event post on Facebook. For each dollar a partner wishes to boost an event post, the bureau would match it with a dollar. Partners would need to commit a minimum of $20 and a maximum of $50 for a boost, and the bureau would match their commitment dollar-for-dollar.
The following are some of the stipulations to ensure this is a win-win proposition.
$1 to $1.50 Match-plus to Promote Pottawattamie County Events to Visitors
Pottawattamie County events can take a step further and receive a higher match by attracting visitors from outside of the immediate area. For each dollar a partner wishes to boost an event post, the bureau will match it with $1.50 if the boost targets a geographic area at least 50 miles away but not farther than 225 miles. Partners would need to commit a minimum of $20 and a maximum of $50 for a boost, and the bureau would match their commitment with $1.50 for each dollar.
The Match-plus stipulations would be very similar to the original Match program to ensure this is a win-win proposition.
With the UNLEASHCB Bulletin and UNDENIABLE e-newsletters, the CBCVB possesses two ways to communicate information to key stakeholders and the general public on a weekly and monthly basis.
UNLEASHCB Bulletin Sponsorships
The UNLEASHCB Bulletin is sent to more than 3,000 recipients on a weekly basis and, since 2017, has established itself as the go-to e-newsletter for city and county events. The Bulletin can draw attention to an organization or business looking for more exposure for what it does and how it serves the area.
More information is available on Bulletin sponsorships that describes all the benefits in greater detail.
UNDENIABLE Sponsorships
UNDENIABLE is sent to approximately 300 recipients on a monthly basis. Since January 2019, it has established itself as the go-to e-newsletter for CBCVB news and is one of the few ways to communicate directly to Pottawattamie’s attractions, hotels, and other hospitality partners.
