Darcy Dougherty Maulsby, author of One Community Read’s title A Culinary History of Iowa, will be joining us an evening at the PACE Hoff Family Arts & Culture Center at 7 p.m. Culinary History is a non-fiction book that looks at the history of Iowa food, including its deep ties to area farms, and shares stories and recipes of some of Iowa's favorite homegrown foods, like classic Iowa ham balls, Steak de Burgo and homemade cinnamon rolls served with chili. Admission is free and open to the public. This event has been made possible through funding from the Council Bluffs Public Library Foundation.
