Celebrate America Spectacular is a free, family-friendly event in downtown Council Bluffs honoring America's 250th birthday. Join the Union Pacific Museum for live entertainment, hands-on activities, and a rare opportunity to view the final page of the Louisiana Purchase Proclamation, featuring Thomas Jefferson's signature.
Event highlights include:
• Multicultural music and dance performances, including Dowds Irish Dance at 11 AM, the Wichita War Dancer at 12 PM, and traditional Chinese instrumentalists at 1 PM
• Readings of the Declaration of Independence throughout the event
• Hands-on crafts and activities for children and families
• A commemorative American flag pin giveaway for the first 100 attendees
• The 99.9 KGOR Spin to Win Wheel from 10 AM to 12 PM for a chance to win tickets to Minions & Monsters
• A special viewing of the final page of the historic Louisiana Purchase Proclamation, including Thomas Jefferson's signature
