Are you ready to be transformed by some of the most beautiful live music you have ever heard? Guests are so stunned at the quality of Cantare’s! singing that they forget to applaud. Cantare is an early music vocal ensemble, founded in 2021 by Laura Petry. This ensemble specializes in the music of Renaissance Italy, France, Germany, and England with additional modern selections. “Our Spring program includes sacred and secular works of the 16th century, and celebrations of the season. As a new nonprofit Ensemble, we appreciate your support to further our outreach programs to bring music to nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and our veterans. All donations also help defray rehearsal and performance expenses and make it possible for us to continue to offer early music performances around the greater Omaha and Council Bluffs area. Our first landmark goal is to present a proper renaissance Madrigal dinner within the next year.” ~Snacks and Refreshments will be served.
