PIEOWA: A Piece of America “A documentary in the baking” will be showing. This award-winning documentary is written/directed/produced by Beth M. Howard. Learn more about the author on her website, theworldneedsmorepie.com.
The movie is just a piece of the action. The doors open at 6 PM with a Maid-Rite dinner served at 6:30 PM. Dinner Entertainment provided by Carson’s own 4-Time Iowa State Fair Accordion Champion, Brett Feuring; and students from Riverside High School Music Dept. singing songs from the upcoming Little Mermaid Musical. Trivial Piesuit will include questions about the Iowa State Fair, RAGBRAI, and pie. Following the movie, we'll enjoy homemade pie, a pie auction, and then conclude the night with a special treat.
Tickets are $25 and they are available at the door or in advance at the Carson locations of the Rolling Hills Bank & Trust and the Country Store. This is a fundraiser for the Carson Business Club.
