Lead People, Build Trust, Create Results Week Four When Its Hard
February 22 | 1:00 - 4:00 p.m.Looft Hall at Iowa Western
Feb 22, 2027 1PM-4PM Looft Hall Room 023
Anyone can lead when things are going well. Leadership gets tested when someone disagrees with you, performance drops, change creates uncertainty, or you do not have an easy answer. This session will focus on conflict, change, difficult conversations, and decision-making. Participants will explore why people resist change, how to disagree without creating an enemy, how to address conflict before it becomes a crisis, and how to correct mistakes without humiliating people. We will also discuss how leaders can maintain confidence when they do not have all the answers and how to help people see a different perspective without simply telling them what to think.
