Racing to the Streets: Encampment Simulation
October 22 | 6:00 - 8:00 p.m.Mid-America Center
Join Hope-Net Ministries for Racing to the Streets, an interactive street outreach and housing simulation designed to give participants a better understanding of the challenges people can face while experiencing homelessness and working toward stable housing.
Participants will move through community resource stations, interact with local organizations, collect the documentation and resources needed for housing, and experience unexpected setbacks along the way. The event also highlights the local partners working every day to help individuals and families move toward stability.
Proceeds support Hope-Net Ministries’ outreach and support programs, including street outreach, Survival Kits of Hope, Home Starter Kits of Hope, Circles of Support, Hope After Care, and other services for unhoused and newly housed neighbors.
