Roberts Park Mini-Pitch

Overview

The Roberts Park Mini-Pitch is a dedicated futsal-sized soccer facility located within Roberts Park in Council Bluffs. Designed to encourage youth participation, recreational play, skill development, and community engagement through soccer, the mini-pitch provides a unique space for informal games, practices, clinics, and special events.

Council Bluffs was selected as one of 10 Iowa communities to receive a mini-pitch through a statewide initiative led by Pro Iowa and its partners to expand access to soccer and grow the game across Iowa. Located within one of the city's larger neighborhood parks, the facility complements Roberts Park's open green space, playground amenities, and recreational offerings while providing a dedicated space for small-sided soccer activities.

The mini-pitch is well-suited for pickup games, youth training sessions, clinics, skills competitions, community events, and organized small-sided tournaments. Groups interested in reserving the facility for games, programs, or special events should contact Council Bluffs Parks and Recreation for availability and rental information.
