Tom Hanafan River's Edge Park is one of the Midwest's premier urban riverfront event destinations, offering a dramatic setting along the Missouri River, North America's longest river, with panoramic views of the Omaha skyline and direct access to the Bob Kerrey Pedestrian Bridge. Located in the heart of Council Bluffs' riverfront district, the park provides flexible outdoor event space that can accommodate everything from community celebrations and sporting events to concerts, festivals, corporate gatherings, and large-scale special events.

The park features five acres of great lawn, built-in amphitheater-style seating, public art installations, and open gathering spaces designed to support events of varying sizes and formats. Event organizers may rent individual spaces, including the great lawn and amphitheater, or reserve multiple areas for larger events that require expanded footprints.

Tom Hanafan River's Edge Park has hosted concerts, festivals, sporting events, barbecue competitions, food truck gatherings, community celebrations, and other signature events, demonstrating its versatility as a destination for both public and private gatherings. The park is also home to the River's Edge Pavilion, a separate venue offering indoor event space and a rooftop deck overlooking the riverfront, as well as Belles' Play Garden, a family-friendly playground adjacent to the pavilion.
