On Friday, September 19, 2025, the city will once again gather at the beautiful Wickersham Stadium for the 71st annual rivalry game between Abraham Lincoln High School and Thomas Jefferson High School.
This year’s matchup is shaping up to be a classic, with both the Lynx and the Yellow Jackets entering the game with identical 2–1 records. It’s more than just football—it’s a chance to celebrate school pride, community spirit, and a tradition that has spanned generations.
