Leap into summer with joy and creativity! American Midwest Ballet is bringing high-energy classes, inspiring events, and community fun to the Hoff Family Arts & Culture Center, a vibrant hub for arts, culture, and connection.
Located in the historic Haymarket District, the Hoff Center is home to Pottawattamie Arts, Culture & Entertainment (PACE) and features 95,000 square feet of creative space. From classrooms and artist studios to a teaching kitchen and a 280-seat theater, it’s the perfect place to learn, perform, and be inspired.

American Midwest Ballet Summer Dance Series
Now’s the time to register for the AMB School’s Summer Dance Series! All classes take place at AMB’s beautiful, state-of-the-art studios. Spots fill quickly and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Classes include creative movement, ballet, jazz, and contemporary!
Session Dates:
- July 14th–24th: For ages 3–9
- August 11th–21st: For ages 3 and up

Celebrate the joy of dance at American Midwest Ballet’s annual Day of Dance, a free event open to kids, teens, and adults! No dance experience or special attire required, just wear something comfortable and get ready to move!
Nutcracker Auditions
August 2nd
Calling all dancers! American Midwest Ballet is holding auditions for The Nutcracker: Community roles available for ages 9 and up. Nutcracker performers will return for costume fittings on August 9, and take the stage for performances:
- November 22–23 at the Hoff Center
- December 5–7 at Omaha’s Orpheum Theater

Junior Company Auditions

American Midwest Ballet's Junior Company is a prestigious pre-professional program for advanced ballet dancers ages 14 through 25. This year’s Junior Company audition will be in conjunction with auditions for The Nutcracker (you may register for either or both auditions.)
