The Harvester Artist Lofts at 1000 South Main Street in Council Bluffs will hold their 8th Annual Holiday Boutique on December 7 and 8. Doors open at 12 p.m. on both days with free admission, inviting the public inside to celebrate the holiday season and shop for unique handmade gifts. This year, the Holiday Boutique will feature more than 20 artist vendors, musical performances, visual art, loft tours, food, and complimentary hot cocoa and coffee, as well as a visit from the big man himself, Santa Claus!

The Holiday Boutique kicks off on Saturday, offering four floors filled with artist vendors selling their unique handmade gifts and holiday treats! Santa Claus will stop by on Saturday from 1 to 3 p.m. inside the Harvester Art Gallery. Jennifer Morgan Photography will be snapping souvenir photos with Santa for $10, with 10 percent of sales donated to Midlands Humane Society. Don’t have your family photo taken for your Christmas card yet? You’re in luck! Jennifer will also offer on-the-spot portraits in a mini holiday studio perfect for your holiday cards and letters.

Award-winning blues musician, Hector Anchondo, will be performing a mix of originals, covers, and holiday music on Saturday from 6 to 8 p.m. Tickets can be purchased in advance online (more information can be found on the Harvester Artist Lofts website) or at the door before the performance.

El Arepon Venezuela Food will be serving up delicious and unique Venezuelan cuisine Saturday and Sunday. The menu includes arepas, empanadas, quesillio, and much more! Find them on Facebook to see photos of their mouth-watering dishes and read their raving reviews.

Harvester Artists are all about giving back to the community and will be accepting donations for Midlands Humane Society. Each donation gets entered in a drawing to win a basket full of artwork, handmade goods, and artist services!
