A Decade of Community & Creativity
Founded by Matt Fujan, O Con Expo was created to bring the Omaha and Council Bluffs communities together through a shared love of pop culture. Ten years later, that vision is still going strong—welcoming fans of all ages and backgrounds to connect, create, and celebrate. O Con is more than just celebrity guests and vendor booths (though you’ll find plenty of both). Here’s what you can expect throughout the weekend:
Cosplay Contest: Don’t miss the largest cosplay contest in the Omaha area, happening Saturday evening. Expect jaw-dropping creativity, detailed craftsmanship, and unforgettable performances.
Kids Cosplay Parade: Join the magic of O Con Expo’s Kids Cosplay Parade, where young imaginations come to life! Bring your little heroes and heroines for a day of fun, creativity, and cosplay extravaganza. Watch as they strut their stuff on the parade route, showcasing their favorite characters and bringing joy to all.
The Corgi Room: Yes, it’s exactly what it sounds like. On Sunday morning, step into a room filled with dozens of adorable corgis—one of the most beloved traditions of the expo.
Live Wrestling: Get in on the action as PWP wrestling returns with live matches happening all weekend long in the Expo Hall.
The Game Room: From board games to tabletop favorites, the Game Room is open all weekend with dozens of tables ready for play.
Community Room: Explore local groups, organizations, and events that help shape the Omaha-area fandom and creative scene.

Spotlight: 2026 Cosplay Contest
One of the most anticipated highlights of the weekend, the 2026 O Con Expo Cosplay Contest takes place Saturday, July 18 at 6 PM! With a $1,000 top prize, this fan-favorite event showcases incredible talent from across the region. Pre-judging happens throughout the day, and the main event moves quickly—so arrive early for the best seats! Important: Participants must have a verified convention pass to register, and spots are first-come, first-served.
