UnShakeable | June 5 - 7
The Family Opera Series returns with UnShakeable, a compelling one-act opera set three years after a mysterious epidemic leaves survivors struggling with memory loss. In a desolate theater, two actors reunite and rely on the only language they share—Shakespeare—to rediscover fragments of their past. Performances take place June 5 at 7 PM, June 6 at 2 PM (relaxed performance) and 7 PM (double feature with Old School Shakespeare Omaha), and June 7 at 2 PM!
Premiere Screening of the Iowa PBS Documentary | June 9
Join Iowa PBS for the premiere of a new documentary on Grenville M. Dodge, Civil War general and Union Pacific chief engineer whose leadership helped shape America’s expansion and unity. The evening includes a 6:30 PM reception with light refreshments, followed by the 7:30 PM screening, and concludes with a short panel discussion featuring historians and filmmakers.
