Squirrel on a Whirl is out exploring his hometown of Council Bluffs! Can you guess where he was this week?
Our first clue must have been too easy. Congratulations to Susan S. on Facebook for correctly guessing his location after the first clue! Squirrel on a Whirl was visiting the Lincoln Monument. This impressive pylon was erected in July 1911 to commemorate Abraham Lincoln's visit to the site in 1859. From this site, Lincoln, along with Grenville M. Dodge, viewed and selected the location for the eastern terminus of the nation's first transcontinental railroad.
Check out our Facebook and be sure to keep an eye out for his whereabouts next week! The first person to guess will win a prize!
