The Women’s Fund of Southwest Iowa, an initiative at the Community Foundation for Western Iowa, is designed to address and support issues facing women and their families: 1.) access to affordable, quality child care, 2.) aging in place and in community, 3.) education for women of all ages, and 4.) women’s safety and wellbeing, focusing on human trafficking, domestic violence, and overall wellness.
We are excited to announce the date for our third IMPACT for Women Summit on September 25, 2025. This is a day packed with conversations geared toward sharing knowledge and building community to support women in our region. We are thrilled to have subject-matter experts join us for an incredible dialogue in the Fund’s four focus areas, including special keynote speaker, Academy, Oscar, and Golden Globe Award-winning actress and published author, Marlee Matlin. Matlin is a dynamic and inspiring keynote speaker and will share her personal story of overcoming addiction and abuse.
