Get ready for a fun-filled day on the water! We’ll kick things off at 9 AM at Anchor Inn Bait & Tackle before heading over to Scout Island for a hands-on fishing adventure.
Kids will learn:
Basic fishing skills – tying knots, baiting hooks, casting, and safely removing fish
Advanced tips & tricks
Fish species identification + DNR rules & regulations
At 12 PM, the excitement continues with a casting contest followed by pizza for all participants! 🍕
This event is the perfect way to get kids outdoors, learning new skills, and making lasting memories. Our amazing volunteers are experienced anglers who can’t wait to share their knowledge and passion for fishing.
