Pedal into fall as riders head down the Wabash Trace Trail to Mineola for lunch—taking in the colorful autumn scenery along the way! The full route is a 20-mile round trip from Council Bluffs, with options to keep the adventure rolling to Silver City (28 miles) or Malvern (45 miles). Riders often stop at Tobey Jack’s in Mineola for a refreshment break before heading back.
This casual “no-drop” ride welcomes all—no membership or club fees required (just a $2 trail fee at the trailhead). Expect an easygoing pace of 10–15 mph, and bring a bike with tires 30 mm or wider for the packed limestone surface.
