UNfortunately, this event has already occurred.
Every spring, Botna Bend park rangers Jon Fenner and Cory Thomas and their staff tap the silver maple trees that call the park home and collect their sweet sap to make homemade maple syrup. You can taste the delicious fruits of their labor by joining us for our annual Pancake Feed!
- Grilled pancakes and sausage will be served with our homemade maple syrup along with coffee & orange juice from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., so don't be late!
- Breakfast is free but free-will donations are gratefully accepted at your pickup and will be used to fund Botna Bend Park projects and improvements.
- A $3 per vehicle entry fee or Pottawattamie Conservation membership is required to enter the park.
Make sure to explore the park after you get some grub. Say hi to our elk and bison herds, take a hike on one of our wilderness trails, or take in the views of the West Nishnabotna River Water Trail.
For questions not answered online, please call Botna Bend Park at 712-741-5465.
This event will be held rain or shine. See you there!
