Just announced! Cory Waller and The Wicked Things and Monica Austin live at Maloney's in Council Bluffs! Cory Waller & The Wicked Things are budding talents in the Midwest country scene. Hard work and honesty are at the center of the band’s sound and songwriting. Primary songwriter and lead singer Cory Waller writes candid portrayals built from years of life, love, ups, downs, marriage, and fatherhood. Taking inspiration from Jason Isbell, John Mellencamp, and Blackberry Smoke — Cory now forges his own musical path. returning to our stage! Monica Austin is a Midwest Country Music artist from the Quad City Area. Her slice-of-life writing style and swing for the fences stage show earned her the title of 2022 Midwest Country Music Organization Entertainer of the Year. Monica's current "Midwest Mama" Tour spans from Southern Texas to Minnesota to Wyoming. Her Sophomore album release, "By the Way", will coincide with the start of her 2024 tour schedule and mark her transition from Regional to National performing artist.
