Litter Busters Park Cleanup | Hitchcock
April 25 | 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.Hitchcock Nature Center
Step into local history and follow in the footsteps of the “Dump Busters,” the passionate community members who saved this Loess Hills landscape from becoming a dump. Today, their legacy lives on—and you’re invited to be part of it.
Join us for this annual park cleanup and help preserve the natural beauty of Hitchcock Nature Center while enjoying a refreshing day outdoors.
How to Participate:
Check in anytime between 9 AM and 1 PM at a designated station to receive a trash bag (or bring your own). Then hit the trails, collect litter along the way, and take in the scenic views as you make a difference.
When you’re done, return to a check-out station to weigh your findings, help sort recyclables, snap a Litter Buster selfie, and enter for a chance to win a free camping stay. Share your experience by tagging us on social media!
Make an impact, honor a powerful community legacy, and help keep the Loess Hills beautiful for generations to come.
