Heartland Family Service announces the “Strike a Chord” Gala on June 9, 2023, at the Mid-America Center in Council Bluffs. Each year, the Gala raises funds for services that help vulnerable individuals and families throughout southwest Iowa communities. The theme is “A Mystery Masquerade” and will feature entertainment, games, as well as live and silent auctions. All proceeds will benefit Heartland Family Service clients who participate in the agency’s southwest Iowa services, including the K-12 Therapeutic School, housing and support services, mental health counseling for children and their parents, and much more.
