Experience stepping back in time with Yesterday’s Lady! Susan McLain is the proprietor of the restored 1887 Schmuck building in Beatrice, NE. Yesterday’s Lady has both the collection and knowledge of vintage clothing spanning nearly two centuries from the early 1800s to the 1970s. “The Victorian Lady” program explores the changing fashions of the Victorian Era: from the crinoline of the 1850s to the hourglass of the 1890s. See how a Lady dressed from her unmentionables to her hat. Also learn about parasols, calling cards, and hats. So find a fashionable hat and your white gloves to join us at the Historic General Dodge House Fall Tea on Sunday, September 18, 2022, at 2:00 PM. Doors open at 1:30 pm.
